Account Coordinator

We’re excited to welcome an experienced Account Coordinator to the Account Management department at Go Do Good.

This position reports to the ACCOUNT MANAGER and will be integral to the agency’s growing department.

This role will serve as our client’s primary point of contact, responsible for managing client relationships, developing and implementing brand marketing project plans, and ensuring the successful execution of client projects. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

As a qualified candidate, you have proven experience, knowledge, and passion in leading and managing client accounts and projects to deliver exceptional client services and marketing solutions at a high-quality standard. You have worked at an agency, consulting firm, or similar business in a client or account services role. In addition, you must have experience managing and developing client relationships and working cross-functionally with client teams and internally within an agency.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Client Project Management, Communication

  • Lead and attend client meetings and get togethers
  • Create meeting agendas and document notes & action items during internal and client-facing meetings
  • Summarize client strategy, project changes, action items, and other relevant information in a clear and concise manner to client and internal teams.
  • Send and communicate updates to clients and internal teams after meetings
  • Communicate project progress and action items to clients and internal teams in weekly updates.
  • Identify and communicate client and project goals and priorities to internal account teams
  • Translate client goals and requests, research, and workshop outcomes into internal & external project charters, strategy briefs, and roadmaps for our clients and delivery teams.
  • Communicate project progress and action items to clients and internal teams in weekly updates.
  • Include recent client updates and changes in existing and upcoming project plans and communicate these changes to the internal account team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in marketing and the nonprofit sector.

Account Management

  • Lead and manage the internal creative team of your client accounts and projects.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of client projects and their timelines, managing all the key aspects of project workflows and account operations, with the support of other account team members.
  • Collaborate with Account Manager to create and manage our clients’ marketing plans, projects, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Attend weekly account management meetings with Strategic Account Managers to provide updates on project timelines, flag any potential roadblocks, and ensure that all current and upcoming projects are captured and represented on workloads across the agency.
  • Communicate account plans, projects, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and directions to internal team members through asynchronous and synchronous communication.
  • Create and oversee the management of account & project budgets and deliverables to complete clients’ projects within scope.
  • Deliver exceptional, timely, and in-scope client services by proactively identifying resourcing needs and project viability.
  • Receive, review, and deliver project assets to clients
  • Support in communicating and explaining strategic direction and context of deliverables to clients upon submitting for client review
  • Keep the internal team informed on client strategies and project modifications, including project timelines, processes, prioritization, or new client initiatives.
  • Mitigate project risks by anticipating potential internal and external roadblocks, advising on timelines and scope, and developing possible solutions and contingency plans in collaboration with Account Manager and creative team
  • Maintain up-to-date information on the status of projects, including managing status reports and meeting agendas in preparation for daily stand-ups, team meetings, and client meetings.
  • Lead internal account team meetings and daily stand-ups.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, such as new service offerings, contract extensions, and renewals.
  • Create statements of work and project scopes for client accounts and projects.
  • Conduct resource planning, forecasting, and request plans based on current and future client projects.

Process Development and Improvement

  • Develop, implement, and manage end-to-end account management processes, systems, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Manage the company knowledge base and internal process documentation in Guru.
  • Identify, create, and execute opportunities for improvement and efficiency in client and internal projects and processes on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop and maintain organized process documentation to ensure relevant information is accessible to all team members and clients.
  • Develop processes to consistently communicate and hold clients accountable to project statuses, budgets, and performance.
  • Maintain and improve collaboration and communication tools, approaches, and processes to ensure clear and efficient collaboration with clients and internally at the agency.

You may be a good fit for this role if you have…

  • Minimum Three (3) years of account management and marketing experience, ideally within the nonprofit industry
  • Experience in project and client management with proven results in growing accounts and supporting clients in achieving their goals
  • Experience gathering and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data and using the results to create and lead effective project plans
  • Can work closely and supportively with team members in cross-functional roles
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational abilities, especially in account and self-management and personal productivity
  • Experience working with remote teams and with remote work tools and applications like Slack, Monday, Google Suite, and Zoom
  • Experience creating and managing financial budgets for client projects
  • Availability to work in alignment with North America’s Eastern time zone
  • Worked in an agency and environment with competing priorities and frequent change – change is not uncomfortable, and you have the skills to adapt and react as needed
  • Comfort with both synchronous and asynchronous communication
  • Openness to receiving feedback and applying it for performance and process improvement
  • An ability to identify and understand big-picture ideas as well as granular details
  • A collaborative spirit and empathetic approach to communication
  • An intellectual curiosity and analytical strength
  • Creativity and curiosity to generate new solutions to existing challenges
